Israel:
Clubhouse Israel Programme
An Israel experience can offer teenagers the opportunity to progress or slide back.
The Israel programme is there to help them progress.
Sems/Yeshivahs are selected as appropriate for each client and a continuous support structure (from being greeted at the airport through to their return to England) ensures that clients have the best chance of success. Progress is monitored, enabling assistance as and when necessary to be provided.
Individual key workers and mentors provide ‘parenting’ roles, ensuring that clients have what they need - from therapeutic support and pocket money through to educational courses and practical forward plans.
The Israel programme helps clients forge meaningful and important friendships that provide the foundations of a positive peer network for their futures. In addition to the ‘work’ side, positive social experiences are also fostered through weekly meals together and summer camps. |
