Israel summer 2006:

The Clubhouse took a group of 12 teenage boys, all of whom have been in trouble at school, some of whom are excluded from school, and are "at risk", due to  a lack of  direction in their lives to Israel for a two week program

This included:

    1. experience of  team-building, group bonding and a shared sense of purpose activities such as horseback riding, raft-building, absaling, cycling, rock-climbing, windsurfing, kayaking and hiking to help them gain a sense of achievement and boost their self-esteem,
    2. Helping the boys to develop teamwork and coping mechanisms which will empower them to make good learning choices
    3. integrating the activities with therapy sessions and group therapy so that they can learned to feel a valued part of their peer group and their community rather than taking up or continuing with risky habits and choices.
    4. Developing their coping mechanisms and to show them that they can survive without cigarettes, junk food, soaps on TV. Empowering them with the skill of how to say "no".
    5. Introducing them to Yeshivas and Israel programs that could help them under the guidance of the Clubhouse Israel unit
