Who are we ?
Growth through experience - a natural progression
The Boys Clubhouse was borne out of a need to cater to teenagers in crises.
Learning from the sharp end of the communities challenges, The Boys Clubhouse developed an additional tier of proactive secondary services. The lessons learned from crises management, means that prevention and development are by far, the most effective mechanisms to protect and build a community.
Joining up the dots
Whilst there were individual issues and challenges, over time, additional common trigger points were recognised. Due to The Boys Clubhouse’s unique exposure to the full spectrum of family crises issues, its expert team was able to create a practical structure and implement an intelligent set of responses, to prevent a large amount of the challenges from recurring.
The sources of the challenges (and the broader issues) often lead back to the families, the schools as well as to a range of other ‘community’ factors.
This means that prevention and support programmes need to be active at a family level, in schools and in and around individual shuls and communal entities.
